Newton Stewart
Newton Stewart is a former burgh town in the historical region of Wigtownshire in Dumfries and also Galloway, southwest Scotland. The community gets on the River Cree with most of the community to the west of the river, and is in some cases described as the "Gateway to the Galloway Hills". The main neighborhood markets are farming, forestry and tourism. The community holds a neighborhood market, as well as a variety of solutions to sustain the farming market. There are numerous hill biking routes in the area. Newton Stewart lies on the southerly side of the Galloway Forest Park, which provides numerous jobs to the community. Newton Stewart FC, nicknamed the "Creesiders" play in the South of Scotland league, their ground is called Blairmount Park.
