Frizington
Frizington is a town in Cumbria, England. Historically, it was a collection of farms and houses, yet became an unified town as a result of the mining (both coal and iron ore) chances in the area. The town is understood for its church, which was constructed in 1867-1868. Historically a part of Cumberland, Frizington is in the civil parish of Arlecdon and Frizington, which has a population of 3,678, the Borough of Copeland and the CA postcode area. On 2 June 2010, Frizington was the scene of the 2nd murder in the murder spree known as the Cumbria shootings, when Derrick Bird fired his family members lawyer, Kevin Commons. Stephen Holgate, a professional rugby organization player with a variety of clubs, came from Frizington.
