Annan
Annan is a community and former royal burgh in Dumfries and Galloway, south-west Scotland. Historically part of Dumfriesshire, its public structures include Annan Academy, of which the author Thomas Carlyle was a student, and also a Georgian structure currently known as "Bridge House".
