Parquet flooring is a kind of wood flooring in which small wood blocks or strips are installed together to create a distinctive design over the whole of the floor. Parquet was traditionally installed with every individual strip meticulously laid, but modern parquet is available in larger tiles or planks to give the same effect. Parquet floor is a very stylish flooring option which is best suited for large rooms or hallways where the appealing pattern can be best displayed.
