Rowland's Castle
Rowlands Castle is a town as well as civil church in the East Hampshire area of Hampshire, England. It is 2.9 miles (4.7 kilometres) north of Havant, on the Hampshire/West Sussex border. The focal point of the village is the village green which is designed somewhat like a lung. Surrounded by roadways it has to do with 250 yards (230 m) long and also about 40 backyards (37 m) vast at its eastern end while tapering to virtually a point at the western end near the train arc. The village takes its name from a motte-and-bailey castle, the remains of which are situated to the south of Redhill Road and also west of the train line, east of the present centre of the town. It is mainly a silent residential town, with four bars and also a few little shops, including a hardware store as well as a regional convenience store, and a population of 2,770.
