Saltburn-by-the-sea
Saltburn-by-the-Sea is a seaside community in Redcar and Cleveland, North Yorkshire, England, around 12 miles (19 km) southern east of Hartlepool. It lies within the historical limits of the North Riding of Yorkshire. It has a population of around 6,000. The advancement of Middlesbrough and also Saltburn was driven by the exploration of iron stone in the Cleveland Hills and the structure of two railways to transfer the minerals.
