Calne
Calne is a town and civil parish in Wiltshire, southwestern England, at the north western edge of the North Wessex Downs hill range. A designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Calne is positioned on a little river, the Marden, that rises 2 miles (3 km) away in the Wessex Downs, and it is the only town on that river. As recorded during the 2011 Census, Calne boasted a permanent resident population of 17,274 residents.
