Parquet flooring is a sort of wood flooring in which small wood blocks or strips are installed alongside one another to make a distinctive pattern over the whole of the floor. Parquet flooring is durable and demands little maintenance. It is, however, inappropriate for areas that contain lots of moisture or humidity as the wood will warp or bend under these conditions.
