Burgess Hill
Burgess Hill is really a civil parish and a town typically located in the Mid Sussex district of West Sussex, England, near the boundary with East Sussex, around the edge of the South Downs National Park. Positioned 62 km (39 mi) south of London, 16 km (9.9 mi) north of Brighton and Hove, and 47 km (29 mi) east-northeast of the county town of Chichester, it takes up a region of 9.47 km2 (3.66 sq mi) and had a population of 28,803 at the time of the 2001 Census, making it the most populated parish within the area. Other nearby towns consist of Haywards Heath to the north east and Lewes, the county town of East Sussex, to the south east.
