Caersws
Caersws is a town and also community on the River Severn, in the Welsh county of Powys (Montgomeryshire) 5 miles (8 km) west of Newtown, and also midway in between Aberystwyth and also Shrewsbury. It has a station on the Cambrian Line from Aberystwyth to Shrewsbury. At the 2001 census it had a population of 1,526, raising a little to 1,586 at the 2011 Demographics. In modern-day Welsh, Caersws literally indicates "Ft Kiss", although sws likely stems from a few other resource. It has been suggested that the site might preserve a Roman-era commitment to Zeus or preserve the name of a conjectured British queen Swswen.
