Welshpool is a town as well as neighborhood in Wales, historically in the region of Montgomeryshire, yet currently administered as part of the unitary authority of Powys. It has a population of 6,664 (United Kingdom Census 2011), includes much Georgian style and is just north of Powis Castle.
