Llandrindod Wells
Llandrindod Wells is a town and also neighborhood in Powys, within the historical boundaries of Radnorshire, Wales. It acts as the seat of Powys County Council and therefore the administrative centre of Powys. It was developed as a health spa town in the 19th century, with a boom in the late 20th century as a centre of city government. Prior to the 1860s the site of the community prevailed land in Llanfihangel Cefn-llys parish. Llandrindod Wells is the 5th biggest community in Powys, as well as the biggest in Radnorshire. In a 2018 study carried out by Rightmove, Llandrindod was elected the Happiest Location in Wales. A survey by the Royal Mail over the Easter 2018 period revealed that Llandrindod had the highest possible online shopping rates for that duration in the entire of the country.
