Llanrhystud
Llanrhystud is a Welsh beachfront village, post town as well as electoral department on the A487 road in the area of Ceredigion, nine miles (14 kilometres) south of Aberystwyth. It is called after the early Christian Welsh St Rhystyd, to whom the village Church in Wales (Anglican) church is dedicated. Rhystyd was among missionaries that showed up from Armorica in the 6th century. The community population at the UK Census 2011 was 966. The electoral ward extends past the boundaries of Llanrhystud to consist of the village of Llangwyryfon. The ward has a total population of 1,562.
