Caersws
Caersws is a village and neighborhood on the River Severn, in the Welsh area of Powys (Montgomeryshire) 5 miles (8 km) west of Newtown, and also midway between Aberystwyth as well as Shrewsbury. It has a station on the Cambrian Line from Aberystwyth to Shrewsbury. At the 2001 census it had a population of 1,526, increasing a little to 1,586 at the 2011 Demographics. In modern-day Welsh, Caersws actually implies "Fort Kiss", although sws almost certainly derives from a few other resource. It has been argued that the website may retain a Roman-era devotion to Zeus or maintain the name of a conjectured British queen Swswen.
