Marlborough
Marlborough is a market community and also civil parish in the English area of Wiltshire on the Old Bath Road, the old main road from London to Bath. It flaunts the second widest high street in Britain, after Stockton-on-Tees. The community gets on the River Kennet, 24 miles (39 km) north of Salisbury as well as 10 miles (16 kilometres) south-southeast of Swindon. Marlborough has an oceanic climate somewhat affected by its inland position and also at 124 metres' elevation is a lot more susceptible to frost than southerly coastal areas. In 2004 Marlborough celebrated 800 years of its Town Charter. Amongst the celebrations were a street play by the Marlborough Players titled Wheels of Time, and also a browse through from HRH Prince Charles.
