Choppington
Choppington is a town and civil church in Northumberland, England. It is positioned a short range to the south-east of Morpeth, and north of Bedlington. It was at one-time part of the three large mid-Northumberland collieries (Ashington, Bomarsund and Choppington). The church, which was formerly called North Bedlington, likewise includes the negotiations of Bomarsund, Guide Post, Stakeford, Sheepwash, Scotland Gate and also West Sleekburn. An electoral ward exists. the population of this ward at the 2011 Census was 4,792.
