Blaydon-on-tyne
The town of Blaydon-on-Tyne is positioned in the North East of England within the Metropolitan Borough of Gateshead. It was traditionally in County Durham. Referring to the 2011 Census, the town has a permanent population of approximately 15,000, which is a sizeable increase from the roughly 14,648 citizens recorded in the 2001 Census. Blaydon underwent an intensive programme of housing regeneration between 2009 and 2014.
