Killin
Killin is a town located at the western head of Loch Tay in Stirling (formerly Perthshire), Scotland. The west end of the village is magnificently sited around the breathtaking Falls of Dochart, the main road leading down towards the Loch at the assemblage of the rivers Dochart as well as Lochay. The drops are crossed by a slim, multi-arched rock bridge carrying the main A827 road into Killin. Killin train station was on the Killin Railway. The train station was officially closed on 1 November 1965. Killin has a little primary school with 56 students. For additional education and learning pupils take a trip to Callander 21 miles (34 kilometres) to the south. The local Gaelic tool primary is in Stirling, 37 miles (60 kilometres) to the south.
