Doune
Doune is a burgh in the district of Stirling, Scotland. Doune's postal address puts the town in Perthshire which is likewise its Registration County, although administratively Doune is under the control of Stirling Council. Doune is assigned Falkirk postal codes starting 'FK'. The village lies within the church of Kilmadock and generally within the location bordered by the River Teith as well as Ardoch Burn. In the 2001 Scottish census, 2.75% citizens of Doune might talk Scottish Gaelic. Doune has a small primary school with 183 pupils on the roll (June 2016), drawn from a catchment area which prolongs outside the community, specifically to the north. Gaelic is taught in Key 1-- 7 and Spanish is currently taught from P5 upwards.
