Parquet flooring is a variety of wood flooring where small wood blocks or strips are installed together to create a distinctive design across the entirety of the floor. Parquet was traditionally installed with each individual strip painstakingly laid, but modern parquet can be bought in bigger tiles or planks to offer the same appearance.
