North Berwick
North Berwick is a seaside community as well as previous royal burgh in East Lothian, Scotland. It is located on the south coast of the Firth of Forth, roughly 20 miles (32 km) east-northeast of Edinburgh. North Berwick became a trendy vacation resort in the nineteenth century as a result of its two sandy bays, the East (or Milsey) Bay as well as the West Bay, and also remains to attract holidaymakers. Golf links at the ends of each bay are open to visitors. The size as well as populace of the community remained rather stable till the 1970s, at which point housebuilding began in earnest around the perimeter of the community, initially to the south (1950s-- 70s), then a collection of major growths to the west (1980s-present) along the line of the train. North Berwick consistently appears at the top of national house price studies, and also like-for-like prices approach Edinburgh. North Berwick was listed as one of the most pricey seaside town in Scotland in 2006, and was 2nd to St. Andrews in 2009.
