Llanon
Llanon is a town in Ceredigion, Wales. It adjoins the town of Llansantffraid on the coastline of Cardigan Bay, 5 mi (8.0 kilometres) north of Aberaeron as well as 11 miles (18 kilometres) south of Aberystwyth on the A487 roadway. It is positioned on an elevated beach. The village is called after the church of Saint Non (llan-Non), the mom of Saint David. By tradition, St David was raised in Llanon. The electoral ward which includes Llansantffraid had a population of 2,386 in 2011.
