Llanon
Llanon is a town in Ceredigion, Wales. It adjoins the town of Llansantffraid on the coastline of Cardigan Bay, 5 mi (8.0 km) north of Aberaeron and also 11 miles (18 kilometres) south of Aberystwyth on the A487 roadway. It is located on a raised beach. The village is named after the church of Saint Non (llan-Non), the mom of Saint David. By tradition, St David was raised in Llanon. The selecting ward which includes Llansantffraid had a population of 2,386 in 2011.
