Beith
Beith is a small town positioned in the Garnock Valley, North Ayrshire, Scotland roughly 20 miles (30 kilometres) south-west of Glasgow. The town is positioned on the crest of a hill and also was known originally as the "Hill o' Beith" (hill of the birches) after its Court Hill. According to the Workplace for National Statistics, based on the 2011 Census quotes, 91.2 percent of the 6,200 citizens of Beith were born in Scotland, with 6.9 per cent born in the UK, 0.8 per cent from other countries in the European Union and 1.2 percent classified as other nation. The 2011 Scotland census reported 99.2 (6,156) percent of individuals from Beith being White, 0.4 percent are Oriental, followed by mixed/multiple descent being 0.3 per cent and also 0.1 per cent reported "Other" origins.
