Cumnock
Cumnock (Cumnag in Gaelic) is a community in East Ayrshire, Scotland. The town rests at the convergence of the Glaisnock Water and also the Lugar Water. There are three adjoining housing projects which exist just outside the town borders, Craigens, Logan and also Netherthird, with the previous ironworks settlement of Lugar likewise just outside the community, adding to a population of around 13,000 in the instant area. A new housing development, Knockroon, was granted planning consent on 9 December 2009 by East Ayrshire Council.
