Dalry
Dalry is a town in the Garnock Valley in Ayrshire, Scotland. Drakemyre is a north suburb. Dalry (from Scottish Gaelic Dail Ruighe, indicating 'the haugh at the incline') is a tiny negotiation on the Rye Burn. Its background has indications of early residents in the area; the remains of an ancient fort, made of three concentric round walls, can be located on the top of Carwinning Hill to the North of Dalry, west of the B784 to Largs.
