Newbury
Newbury is regarded as a civil parish plus the principal town in the west of the county of Berkshire in England. It is situated on the River Kennet and the Kennet and Avon Canal, and contains an urban area centre containing several 17th century buildings. Newbury is better noted for its racecourse. The bordering countryside is distinctive for agriculture, racehorse training, Highclere Castle, ruined Donnington Castle and it has the former USAF airbase at Greenham Common.
