Marlborough
Marlborough is a market town as well as civil church in the English county of Wiltshire on the Old Bath Road, the old main road from London to Bath. It flaunts the 2nd best high road in Britain, after Stockton-on-Tees. The community gets on the River Kennet, 24 miles (39 kilometres) north of Salisbury as well as 10 miles (16 km) south-southeast of Swindon. Marlborough has an oceanic environment somewhat affected by its inland position as well as at 124 metres' altitude is more prone to frost than southern seaside locations. In 2004 Marlborough celebrated 800 years of its Town Charter. Amongst the celebrations were a street play by the Marlborough Players labelled Wheels of Time, as well as a browse through from HRH Prince Charles.
