Fishguard
Fishguard is a coastal town in Pembrokeshire, Wales, with a population of 3,419 in 2011; the community of Fishguard and also Goodwick had a population of 5,407. Modern Fishguard contains two parts, Lower Fishguard as well as the "Main Town". Fishguard and Goodwick are twin towns with a joint Community Council. Lower Fishguard is thought to be the site of the original district where modern Fishguard has expanded. It is in a deep valley where the River Gwaun meets the sea, hence the Welsh name for Fishguard. It is a common angling town with a brief tidal quay. The negotiation stretches along the north incline of the valley. The major community consists of the parish church, the High Street and also most of the modern advancement, as well as lies upon capital to the south of Lower Fishguard, to which it is joined by a steep and winding road. The part of the community that deals with Goodwick expanded in the initial decade of the 20th century with the advancement of Fishguard Harbour.
