Clarbeston Road
Clarbeston is a village as well as parish in Pembrokeshire, Wales, 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) eastern of Haverfordwest. The parish, together with Wiston as well as Walton East, make up the area of Wiston. The English placename indicates "Clarenbald's ranch", Clarenbald being a continental Germanic (probably Flemish) personal name. The Welsh placename is a translation of the English. Clarbeston Road train station and also the bordering settlement and also post community of Clarbeston Road lie to the west of the village. The parish is close to, or on, the Pembrokeshire language frontier and has constantly had a somewhat fluctuating percentage of Welsh audio speakers. The parish had a location of 671 ha (1,660 acres). Its census populations were: 180 (1801 ): 178 (1851 ): 158 (1901 ): 114 (1951 ): 71 (1981 ). The percent of Welsh audio speakers was 41 (1891 ): 44 (1931 ): 27 (1971 ).
