Delabole
Delabole is a large village in north Cornwall, England, UK. It is positioned around 2 miles (3 kilometres) west of Camelford. It remains in the civil parish of St Teath. The village of Delabole came into existence in the early 20th-century; it is named after the Delabole Quarry. Three hamlets: Pengelly, Meadrose (noticable "médroze") and Rockhead, and the community of Delabole south of the quarry are shown on the earliest one-inch Ordnance Survey map of 1813. When the train showed up, the station was called Delabole after the quarry, and also the 3 hamlets were absorbed into Delabole. It is stated to be the 3rd highest town in Cornwall. Treligga armed forces landing strip and also HMS Vulture II, an aerial bombing and gunnery variety, were located west of the village. Delabole lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
