Liskeard
Liskeard is an ancient stannary and market community and civil parish in south east Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. Liskeard is positioned about 20 miles (32 km) west of Plymouth, 14 miles (23 kilometres) west of the River Tamar as well as the boundary with Devon, and also 12 miles (20 kilometres) eastern of Bodmin. The community is at the head of the Looe valley in the old thousand of West Wivelshire as well as has a population of 9,417. Liskeard was the base of the former Caradon District Council and also it still has a community council. There are 3 wards in Liskeard (consisting of Dobwalls). The complete population at the 2011 census was 11,366. In 1974 Liskeard was twinned with Quimperlé (Kemperle) in Brittany, France.
