Delabole
Delabole is a large town in north Cornwall, England, UK. It is located around two miles (3 km) west of Camelford. It remains in the civil parish of St Teath. The village of Delabole originated in the early 20th-century; it is named after the Delabole Quarry. 3 districts: Pengelly, Meadrose (obvious "médroze") and also Rockhead, and also the district of Delabole south of the quarry are revealed on the earliest one-inch Ordnance Survey map of 1813. When the train arrived, the terminal was named Delabole after the quarry, as well as the three hamlets were absorbed into Delabole. It is stated to be the 3rd highest town in Cornwall. Treligga military landing strip as well as HMS Vulture II, an airborne battle as well as gunnery array, were positioned west of the village. Delabole exists within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
