Delabole
Delabole is a big village in north Cornwall, England, UK. It is located about two miles (3 km) west of Camelford. It is in the civil church of St Teath. The village of Delabole originated in the very early 20th-century; it is named after the Delabole Quarry. 3 districts: Pengelly, Meadrose (obvious "médroze") and Rockhead, as well as the hamlet of Delabole south of the quarry are shown on the earliest one-inch Ordnance Survey map of 1813. When the railway showed up, the terminal was named Delabole after the quarry, and also the 3 communities were taken in into Delabole. It is claimed to be the 3rd greatest village in Cornwall. Treligga army landing strip and HMS Vulture II, an aerial battle as well as gunnery array, were situated west of the village. Delabole lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
