Choppington
Choppington is a town and also civil parish in Northumberland, England. It is situated a brief distance to the south-east of Morpeth, and also north of Bedlington. It went to one-time part of the 3 big mid-Northumberland collieries (Ashington, Bomarsund and Choppington). The church, which was previously called North Bedlington, also includes the negotiations of Bomarsund, Guide Post, Stakeford, Sheepwash, Scotland Gate and West Sleekburn. An electoral ward exists. the population of this ward at the 2011 Census was 4,792.
