Trimdon Station
Trimdon (population 2,958) is a town in Region Durham, in England (earlier Tremeldon (1196) or Tremedon (1262 )). It is 9 miles west of Hartlepool, and adjacent to Trimdon Colliery, Trimdon Grange and also Deaf Hill (likewise known as Trimdon Station). In your area, to distinguish it from these it is called Trimdon Village or just "The Village". The primary centerpiece of "The Village" is Saint Mary Magdalene church, which was built during the Norman duration (about 1145AD). Trimdon Labour Club (currently closed) was the setup for a few of the former prime minister and constituency MP, Tony Blair's constituency speeches. Blair's local house was in nearby Trimdon Colliery.
