Blaydon-on-tyne
The town of Blaydon-on-Tyne is in the North East of England inside the Metropolitan Borough of Gateshead. It was originally in County Durham. As per the 2011 Census, the town has a population of 15,000, which is a large increase from the around 14,500 residents recorded in the 2001 Census. Blaydon experienced an intensive programme of housing regeneration between 2009 and 2014.
