Rowland's Castle
Rowlands Castle is a town as well as civil church in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England. It is 2.9 miles (4.7 km) north of Havant, on the Hampshire/West Sussex boundary. The prime focus of the village is the village green which is shaped rather like a lung. Bordered by roads it is about 250 lawns (230 m) long as well as around 40 yards (37 m) wide at its eastern end while tapering to practically a point at the western end near the train arch. The town takes its name from a motte-and-bailey castle, the remains of which are located to the south of Redhill Road and also west of the train line, eastern of the current centre of the village. It is largely a quiet property village, with 4 bars and also a few little stores, consisting of a hardware shop and a regional corner store, and also a population of 2,770.
