East Cowes
East Cowes is a town and also civil parish to the north of the Isle of Wight, on the eastern bank of the River Medina next to its neighbor on the west financial institution, Cowes. The two towns are attached by the Cowes Drifting Bridge, a chain ferry run by the Isle of Wight Council. East Cowes is the site of Norris Castle, as well as Osborne House, the previous summertime residence of Queen Victoria and also Prince Albert. The Prince had a significant impact on the architecture of the location, as an example on the structure of St Mildred's Church in close-by Whippingham, which includes unique turrets mimicing those found on a German castle.
