Micro CHP Boiler in Henley-on-thames

Since national energy costs continue to rise, it's become a lot more necessary to contemplate exactly how your house is powered. And Micro CHP units have turned out popular, not just heating the house, but providing electrical power too.

Micro CHP central heating boilers are operated by gas or LPG, whilst oil fired systems are being researched also. In spite of all of these being fossil fuels, Micro CHP units are considered as low co2 technologies as they're much more effective than using standard grid energy.

They look very similar to a standard home central heating boiler and can be hooked up to a wall or left freestanding. And essentially the main difference is they'll produce electricity for your home as well, supplying you with a two-for-one system.

There are many advantages to give Micro CHP boilers great consideration too. They are not only qualified to receive feed-in tariff payments, but they're straightforward to set up and much more efficient compared to most boilers in the UK.

Henley-on-thames

Henley-on-Thames is a town and civil parish on the River Thames in the English county of Oxfordshire. It is set about 7 miles (11 kilometres) northeast of Reading and 7 miles west of Maidenhead. One of its boundaries has the tripoint of Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. It encompasses an area of around 2.15 square miles. According to the 2011 Census, the town has a permanent population of around 11619 people. The very first record of Henley is from 1179, when it is documented that King Henry II 'had actually purchased land for the creation of buildings'. King John bestowed the manor of Benson and the town and manor of Henley to Robert Harcourt in 1199. The existing Thursday market, it is regarded, was granted by a charter of King John. A market was undeniably in existence by 1269, even though the jurors of the assize of 1284 declared to not know by what warrant the earl of Cornwall held a market and fair in the town of Henley. The existing Corpus Christi fair was granted by a charter of Henry VI. Henley is a world-renowned centre for rowing. Each summer, the annual Henley Royal Regatta is held on Henley Reach, which is a naturally straight stretch of the river just north of the town. It was extended artificially. The contest came to be 'Royal' in 1851, when Prince Albert became patron of the regatta. The River and Rowing Museum, based in Mill Meadows, is the town's one museum. It was set up in 1998, and officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II. The museum, created by the designer David Chipperfield, showcases information on the River Thames, the sport of rowing, and the town of Henley itself.
