Newbury
Newbury serves as a civil parish and the principal town in the west of the county of Berkshire in England. It is situated on the River Kennet and the Kennet and Avon Canal, and possesses a town heart containing quite a few 17th century structures. Newbury is better noted for its racecourse. The adjacent countryside is significant for agriculture, racehorse training, Highclere Castle, ruined Donnington Castle and possesses the former USAF airbase at Greenham Common.
