Killin
Killin is a village positioned at the western head of Loch Tay in Stirling (formerly Perthshire), Scotland. The west end of the town is wonderfully sited around the scenic Falls of Dochart, the primary road leading down in the direction of the Loch at the confluence of the rivers Dochart and Lochay. The falls are crossed by a slim, multi-arched rock bridge lugging the main A827 road right into Killin. Killin train terminal got on the Killin Railway. The train station was formally closed on 1 November 1965. Killin has a small primary school with 56 pupils. For secondary education students travel to Callander 21 miles (34 kilometres) to the south. The local Gaelic tool primary remains in Stirling, 37 miles (60 km) to the south.
