Rogart
Rogart is a tiny town in Sutherland, Highland, Scotland. The village was the residence of Major Andrew MacDonald, who battled in the French as well as Indian War. It was originally a spread crofting village, until the opening of the Rogart railway station at Pittentrail 1 1/2 miles (2.4 kilometres) to the southeast. A more recent commercial village expanded after the arrival of the railway in 1886, with the older town continuing to be. The village of Golspie is 9 miles (14 km) east of Rogart.
