Llangammarch Wells
Llangammarch Wells or simply Llangammarch (population 541) is a town in the neighborhood of Llangamarch in Powys, Wales, pushing the Afon Irfon, as well as in the historical county of Brecknockshire (Breconshire). It is the smallest of the four spa villages of mid-Wales, together with Llandrindod Wells, Builth Wells and Llanwrtyd Wells. The spa was concentrated on a barium well, which is currently closed. The old town is centred on the parish church of St Cadmarch, which is a grade II * listed building. Llangammarch station gets on the Heart of Wales Line with trains supplied by Transportation for Wales. It lies on Route 43 of the National Cycle Network. Llangammarch Wells Golf Club (now obsolete) was founded in 1904. The club and also course went away in the 1950s.
