Pershore is a market town in Worcestershire, England, on the banks of the River Avon. Pershore remains in the Wychavon district as well as is part of the West Worcestershire legislative constituency. At the 2011 census the population was 7,125. The community is best known for Pershore Abbey, Pershore University (currently an university of Warwickshire College), as well as the plums and also pears expanded locally.
