Broughton-in-Furness is a little market town around the south boundary of England's Lake District National Park. During the 1990s, the A595 road was diverted to attempt to boost the environment of the town and help it retain its rural feel. The town consists of, amongst other shops, a Post Office, a newsagents, a grocer, a butcher, a bakery along with a selection of pubs and restaurants.
