Newton Stewart
Newton Stewart is a former burgh community in the historic region of Wigtownshire in Dumfries as well as Galloway, southwest Scotland. The town gets on the River Cree with a lot of the town to the west of the river, as well as is sometimes referred to as the "Gateway to the Galloway Hills". The primary regional sectors are farming, forestry and also tourist. The town hosts a local market, and a number of services to sustain the farming industry. There are several hill biking trails in the location. Newton Stewart rests on the southern edge of the Galloway Forest Park, which provides many jobs to the community. Newton Stewart FC, nicknamed the "Creesiders" play in the South of Scotland league, their ground is called Blairmount Park.
