During a boiler service, your boiler engineer will perform a series of checks to ensure that your boiler is safe and efficient. First, they will conduct a visual inspection to check for any corrosion or leaks. They will also check the flame in your boiler. They’ll then remove the boiler casing and check all the components, including the heat exchanger, burner and spark probe, then clean the inside. After this, they’ll check the flue for obstructions and ensure that it’s safely fitted. They will then do a gas pressure check to ensure the boiler is working at the right pressure, before firing it up to check for any working faults.
Carrbridge
Carrbridge is a village in Badenoch as well as Strathspey in the Scottish Highlands. It lies off the A9 on the A938, west of Skye of Curr, southeast of Tomatin, near Bogroy. It has the oldest rock bridge in the Highlands and the nearby old ache woodland has the Landmark Forest Adventure Park. Carrbridge has to do with 10 kilometres (6 mi) north of Aviemore as well as creates an entrance to the Cairngorms National Park. It was an early centre for snowboarding in Scotland. In the 2001 census the village had a population of 708 individuals, with the majority employed in tourism. Up until the 1980s bypass was built, the A9 ran right via the town. Carrbridge is served by Carrbridge railway station on the Highland Main Line. Local dispute still surges regarding the name Carrbridge itself, with some favoring to see it hyphenated to Carr-bridge. The word "Carr" has nothing to do with motorised transport yet is originated from the Old Norse word for boggy location.
