Kirkby Stephen
Kirkby Stephen is a civil parish and also small market town in Cumbria, in North West England. Historically it belonged to Westmorland. The community lies on the A685, bordered by sparsely booming hill country, and also about 25 miles (40 km) from the closest larger communities, Kendal and Penrith.
