Rogart
Rogart is a tiny town in Sutherland, Highland, Scotland. The town was the residence of Major Andrew MacDonald, who combated in the French as well as Indian War. It was initially a spread crofting town, till the opening of the Rogart railway station at Pittentrail 1 1/2 miles (2.4 km) to the southeast. A more recent industrial town grew after the arrival of the railway in 1886, with the older town remaining. The village of Golspie is 9 miles (14 km) east of Rogart.
